System Overload

System Overload is a concert project by the ensemble Konglomerat in collaboration with members of the Percaso String Quartet. The work explores our relationship with social media—between attraction, overload, and loss of control.

The performance combines harmonium, percussion, string trio, live electronics, and live visuals in a 4-channel setup. The audience interacts in real time via smartphone: emojis directly influence the musical and visual development of the piece.

All material is sourced from social media and is fragmented, recombined, and processed algorithmically. System Overload unfolds in three parts, addressing motivation, identity, and the feedback loops of digital systems.
